长期从事潜在厌氧益生菌的分离和鉴定，病原菌泛基因组耐药分析、肠道菌群宏基因组分析菌群互作，探究人类肠道菌群互作如何影响病原菌定殖、感染发生和耐药进展。以一作或通讯在Nature Microbiology、Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy、Biofouling等杂志发表论文。主持国家自然科学基金、国家博士后基金、重庆市科技局科研项目多项。并受邀在剑桥大学、牛津大学以及美国微生物学会年会（ASM 2024）进行相关课题的大会口头报告。
